About Us
J.L. Griffith Sucesores, S.A., was founded in 1903 by John L. Griffith, a British subject that ventured to Nicaragua in the late 1800s. He visited the Port of Corinto to supervise a shipment of coffee bound for Europe. Finding the place fascinating, he had the vision to foresee the opportunity to become a link between the steamship lines, with importers and exporters of Nicaragua. The firm continues to be a family concern, presently headed by its President, Albert Griffith Sr., Georgina Griffith as General Manager and Aron Guerrero as Executive Director, backed by a professional staff with ample knowledge and experience in the field. The company has since expanded its operations to cover all Nicaraguan ports and has ventured into other activities such as developing a sister company to provide the service of bonded warehouse, custom brokerage and warrant financing concern supervised by the Bank Superintendancy. J. L. Griffith Sucesores S.A. is Lloyd`s Agent for Nicaragua and is Correspondent for the International Group of P&I Clubs, as well as member of Multiport Ship Agencies Network. John L. Griffith
